Product description

MKT Fastening Sup-R-Drop mechanical anchoring system is made of 316 stainless steel. Ideal for flush-mounting applications. Preassembled for ease of installation. Female threads accept standard UNC bolts or threaded rods. Slotted body is precision matched to a tapered internal plug for solid uniform expansion. Knurled body increases frictional forces between anchor and wall of hole. Concerns: dead load only, hole depth must be equal to anchor length and do not over torque. Approvals/listings: G.S.A. Spec FF-S-325C, Group VIII, Type 1, UL listed, FM approved. 3/8"-16 Thread size. 3/8-inches UNC bolt size. Measures 1/2-inches diameter by 1-9/16-inches length. 1-9/16-inches Minimum embedment. 10 foot pounds Maximum torque. 1/2-inches Hole diameter. Ultimate tension in 2000 PSI concrete: 3957 pounds and ultimate tension in 4000 PSI concrete: 4824 pounds. Ultimate shear: 3714 pounds.
